Morag Morse

Morag is a native of Southeastern Connecticut and full time realtor with Prudential CT Realty in Mystic. With her love for the sea and her connection to cancer, she is excited to be part of Sails Up For Cancer.

For the past six years she has been a local chair person for “The Sunshine Kids” an organization dedicated to improving the quality of life for children with cancer. She is currently planning the annual golf tournament & silent auction to be held at Shennecossett Golf Course in Groton.

In addition, Morag is a corporator of Lawrence and Memorial Hospital and the past president of the “Lambs” (Lawrence and Memorial Benefactors Society). She has planned for local organizations including the Wadawanuck Yacht Club, The Williams School, Denison Pequotsepos Nature Center, American Liver Foundation and Deans Mill School.

Morag is a consummate event and party planner; from country club holiday dances, children’s parties to major life events including weddings.

Like so many of us Morag has been touched by Cancer, she has lost a sister, mother and best friend to this terrible disease and is now interested in working toward funding research.


Frank Marco

Frank is a partner with Wiggin & Dana in the firm’s Corporate Practice Departmentand Chair of the Private Equity and Emerging Companies Practice Group and Co-Chairof the firm’s Clean Technology Practice Group. He has over 30 years of experience incorporate, finance and securities law.

His practice focuses on representing venture capital investors and emerging growthcompanies in capital formation, mergers and acquisitions, public offerings, joint ventures,strategic alliances, licensing, research and development, and related matters

Frank’s experience, which includes six years in the General Counsel’s office of GeneralElectric Company, where he was also General Counsel to General Electric VentureCapital Corporation, gives him a unique background in the venture capital process and incorporate ventures.

He was a co-founder of the Connecticut Technology Council, where he is a Board andExecutive Committee member and Chair of the CTC’s Public Policy Committee, anExecutive Committee member of Connecticut United for Research Excellence (CURE),and is a co-founder of the MIT Enterprise Forum of Connecticut.. He is a member ofthe UCONN President’s Advisory Committee on Technology Transfer. Frank has thedistinctions of being chosen by The Best Lawyers of America as a leading private equitylawyer.

Frank is an avid sailor and proud to sit on the Sails Up for Cancer Advisory Board andlend his support behind their efforts.
