Morag is a native of Southeastern Connecticut and full time realtor with Prudential CT Realty in Mystic. With her love for the sea and her connection to cancer, she is excited to be part of Sails Up For Cancer. For the past six years she has been a local chair person for "The Sunshine Kids" an organization dedicated to improving the quality of life for children with cancer. She is currently planning the annual golf tournament & silent auction to be held at Shennecossett Golf Course in Groton. In addition, Morag is a corporator of Lawrence and Memorial Hospital and the past president of the "Lambs" (Lawrence and Memorial Benefactors Society). She has planned for local organizations including the Wadawanuck Yacht Club, The Williams School, Denison Pequotsepos Nature Center, American Liver Foundation and Deans Mill School. Morag is a consummate event and party planner; from country club holiday dances, children's parties to major life events including weddings. Like so many of us Morag has been touched by Cancer, she has lost a sister, mother and best friend to this terrible disease and is now interested in working toward funding research.
Erica was graduated from Kenyon College with a B.A. in History and New York University with an M.S. in Digital Imaging. She supports non-profit institutions through building new business alliances strategic marketing partnerships. Erica founded Lindberg Licensing and Promotion more than 22 years ago. Prior to founding her own successful company she was Vice President, Domestic and International Licensing for MTV Networks building the MTV, VH-1 and Nickelodeon product brands. Erica was also the Director of Marketing for Jim Henson's production company where she launched movie and television promotions, built the first electronic and home entertainment departments and launched a host of products. Lindberg has launched and managed such brands as Arthur, Where's Waldo, Between the Lions, and the paintings of Sir Winston Churchill. Erica has worked with non-profits such as Carnegie Hall, The We Are Family Foundation, seeking solutions for global teen leaders in search of peace through innovation, Bryant Park Public in support of public green space – and now works with the Professor Garfield Foundation, the History Channel and Lifetime through A&E television networks. www.lindberglicensing.com Erica is interested in helping to raise money for Cancer research as so many friends have been touched in devastating ways by the inexplicable rampage of Cancer. Margot Larson is a Career and Life Transition Coach, helping people face challenges and changes in their life and careers. She has done due diligence in facing her own illness, Stage 4 inoperable NSC lung cancer. She takes on the occasional consulting assignment, loves to write, volunteers in the cancer community, coaches and supports others in need. |
