Sails Up 4 Cancer is thrilled to share that our partners at the Mystic River Mudhead Sailing Association have earned Silver Level Clean Regatta Certification from Sailors for the Sea for the Mudhead Benefit Cup.
This recognition celebrates the Mudhead Benefit Cup’s dedication to hosting a sustainable event that not only supports the fight against cancer but also protects the waters we sail on. By implementing eco-friendly practices—such as reducing single-use plastics, promoting proper waste disposal, and encouraging ocean stewardship—the Mudheads demonstrated that great racing and environmental responsibility go hand-in-hand.
